To put it in perspective, on an uncontended 24Mbps ADSL line, with showing 18Mbps down, and 1.6Mbps up, I've managed to upload approximately 385Mb in 16 hours. Obviously they just don't have the capacity to support the users that are buying the service. Things seem to start to go wrong with them offering reduced cost/near free offerings toward the end of last year. Price plan was attractive, upload speeds had been pretty good, and was generally a good service. Their offering started out quite well after capturing a number of users from Mozy. I moved from this backup after paying for 3 - 4 years, it's going downhill nonstop and I don't see how they will survive in the future at this rate.
Restoring is the most painful process, SLOWHonestly, if it's a matter of money, just charge more and do your damn job. Heavy CPU load and eats all of your RAM. Backups are unreliable, lucky if you can do a complete backup through once a week, it requires constant restarts. Complete garbage software with constant "service is currently unavailable" and other errors, essentially always fails to connect to crashplan a couple times a day. Constantly downgrading plans, even after moving to small business plan it the service quality would barely be useful for a regular joe, never-mind any business.
